Helena has worked in non-profit organisations for over 12 years – including community mental health, mental wellbeing helplines, children and family, as well as the family violence sectors. Helena completed her Masters in Counselling from Massey University in 2016, and moved from frontline delivery to management roles soon after.

Helena holds a passion for supporting people in crisis, and believes that the right person at the right time can make all the difference for someone facing a traumatic time. The vision and purpose of HELP, what it does to support survivors and the staff that support them, has inspired Helena in her role as Crisis Services Manager.
