Become a HELP champion and change lives
Becoming a HELP Champion is a truly life-changing way to help the survivors of sexual abuse to heal and thrive, and to help prevent sexual abuse from happening to others. Even a small monthly gift can make an incredible difference.
HELP us plan ahead
Our HELP champions are the lifeblood of our services. Your regular monthly donation enables us to plan ahead and provide more crisis support to survivors, more therapy to help them heal, and more prevention services to help keep young people safe from harm.
As a HELP champion, your regular gift will help survivors like Tamara*, who was just four years old when she was first sexually abused.
“The therapy service was incredible. They really made me feel like what I was feeling mattered. I felt seen and heard and worthy of a better life.”
How your regular donation will HELP
Your regular donation will be used straight away to provide specialist support to sexual abuse survivors, their families, and friends. It will…
HELP us to advocate
$50 a month can help towards providing crucial support for a survivor before, during and after the court process.
HELP us to heal
$100 a month can help towards providing a trauma therapy session to help a survivor to heal and move forward.
HELP us to prevent
$250 a month can help towards protecting preschool children from sexual abuse with a We Can Keep Safe workshop.
Thank you to all of our monthly donors – you are true champions for the survivors of sexual abuse, and for the generations of New Zealanders you’re helping to protect.
Meet Nic Mason, HELP Champion
“Hi, I’m Nic Mason and I recently switched from being a ‘once or twice a year’ donor to being a regular monthly giver. Having the power to improve the lives of others is important to me. It’s a privilege to stand beside HELP every month and give them my consistent financial support, knowing I’m making a difference.
I’ve found monthly giving simple and easy to budget for. I hardly notice the difference and at the end of the financial year, HELP sends me an annual receipt to claim back on my tax.”
