HELP’s Finance Manager Fiona Philip biography page. A woman with shoulder length blonde hair.

Fiona first fell in love with non-profits when she took her three boys to her local Auckland Playcentre. Eight years later, with extensive experience of emergent leadership, collaborative practices, and just how far passion can take you, she was inspired to combine this experience with her pre-children technical skills and find a way to use all of this expertise for charitable purposes.

HELP’s compelling vision of working towards a society where relationships are based on co-operation and respect drew Fiona in. Nearly 7 years later, she has found her happy place managing all things finance and overseeing a small but dedicated HELP finance team.

Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from Herit Watt University, Scotland. She started her career as an auditor with Grant Thronton UK LLP, with the goal of becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Goal achieved, she migrated to New Zealand to work with Ernst & Young in the corporate worlds of Corporate Tax Consulting and Business Risk Management. The last 15 years however have been firmly rooted in the non-profit world of Business Management and Financial Management.
