Hilda Fa’asalele (Matafanua, Aiolupotea)

Hilda is a Registered Nurse, and Well Child Nurse with over 30 years in the health sector, and the community, in leadership, management and education roles. The roles she has held include ADHB General Manager for Pacific health, Chief Advisor Pacific with the Ministry of Health for 7 years, and senior lecturer with the School of Nursing at MIT.

Hilda has always had a strong focus on Women and children, and is now back in a clinical role in maternity services in Women’s health.

She also carries two Samoan chief/matai titles. One from her father’s village in Falevao, Upolu; and from her mother’s village in Falelima, Savaii.
