Sadly, sexual abuse still carries an unfair amount of stigma in our society. This means that fewer survivors come forward and seek support to heal because fear and shame continues to keep them quiet.
While traumatic, sexual abuse does not have to be a shameful experience. We need more people that are dedicated to increasing awareness about sexual assault. So get talking! Tell your schools and community groups about the work we do. We would love the opportunity to share our innovative programmes and the amazing services HELP provides to the community.
If you need resources such as brochures and literature, please contact us. We’re more than happy to help!
